Albury sits halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, on the Murray, with Lake Hume just up the road and the alpine resorts a couple of hours south. Warm summers, proper winters, and enough river, snow and sport to fill a weekend, all of it close by.
The part most people notice first is the housing. What a two bedroom unit costs in either capital buys a family home here with a yard, and you’re ten minutes from work instead of an hour.
You’d be based at our Metry Street branch, covering the Riverina and north east Victoria, home most nights. If you’re somewhere else in the country and a tree change has crossed your mind, we can help with the move. Relocation assistance is on the table for the right person.
THE WORK
What You’ll Be Doing
Servicing, repairs, diagnostics, installs, calibrations and verification work across weighbridges, platform and bench scales, loader scales, instrumentation and batching plant systems.
Our customers run transport fleets, quarries, concrete plants, farms and recycling yards across Victoria and southern NSW. One morning you’re on a weighbridge at a grain site, that afternoon you’re chasing a fault on a loader scale.
It’s customer facing work, so how you handle yourself on site counts for as much as the technical side.

Senior technician, specialist, branch or leadership roles. We fill those from inside first.
Ongoing Training
Hands-on training across weighing equipment, instrumentation, diagnostics, site work and verification.
WHAT WE’RE AFTER
Is This You?
You don’t need to tick every box before you get in touch.
Highly regarded
- Industrial electronics, electrical or instrumentation experience
- Weighing systems, controls or batching plant work
- Mechanical service or field service background
- Current NMI verifier licences
Needed either way
- A full Australian driver’s licence
- Comfortable working on customer sites
- Clear communicator, reliable, safety conscious
- Willing to complete a standard pre-employment medical
