ANMAR SCALES LOADER WEIGHING SYSTEMS
Wheeled Loader Scales & On-Board Weighing Systems
Sell your products with confidence, avoid overload fines, and know exactly what’s in the bucket every time.
We supply, install, service and verify Trade Approved on-board weighing systems for wheeled loaders across Victoria and Southern NSW. Our work covers civil contractors, quarries, grain corporations, sand and soil yards, mines, and firewood operators.
Our loader scales fit any brand of wheeled loader (Komatsu, CAT, Volvo, Hitachi, Liebherr, you name it) and handle buckets up to 20 tonne. No lock-in contracts. No restrictions on who can service the unit afterwards.
ANY BRAND, ANY SIZE LOADER
Built to Fit What You’re Already Running
You shouldn’t have to change loaders to get accurate weight readings. Our VEI scales install on any wheeled loader, regardless of brand, model or vintage. CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Liebherr, Doosan, Kawasaki, John Deere, if it loads buckets we can fit it.
The system reads from hydraulic pressure sensors and shows the operator real-time weight in the cab, accurate to ±1%.
When the time comes to upgrade your loader, the scale comes with you. We swap it across to the new machine, usually in a day, so there’s no period where you’re loading blind.

Sell direct off the loader without a separate weighbridge run, cut cycle times, and remove a whole step.
Stop Overload Fines
Chain of Responsibility legislation puts overloaded trucks back on the loader operator. Load the right weight first time.

QUESTIONS ABOUT LOADER SCALES
Frequently Asked Questions
What is on-board weighing for loaders?
On-board weighing means fitting a weighing system directly to your wheeled loader, so you can see exactly how much material is in the bucket every time you lift. The system reads hydraulic pressure from the loader arms and shows the operator a real-time weight on a screen in the cab. No more guessing, no more weighbridge trips for every load.
How accurate are loader scales?
Trade Approved loader scales like the VEI millennium5 and helperX read to within ±1% accuracy. Non-trade systems are still reliable for in-house production tracking and overload prevention, just without the legal-for-trade certification.
What's the difference between Trade Approved and non-trade?
A Trade Approved (or Legal for Trade) loader scale is certified by the National Measurement Institute, meaning you can sell product directly off the loader without a separate weighbridge run. A non-trade scale is fine for production tracking and avoiding overload, but you can’t legally use the readings to invoice customers.
Will a loader scale fit my brand of loader?
Yes. Our VEI scales fit any wheeled loader, regardless of brand, model or vintage. CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Liebherr, Doosan, Kawasaki, John Deere – if it loads buckets, we can fit it. Buckets up to 20 tonne.
Can you service or repair my existing loader scale?
Yes. We service, verify, repair and refurbish all major brands of loader scales including Loadrite, Loadmaster, VEI and others. No lock-in contracts. No requirement to switch over to one of our units. If we can keep your existing scale running properly, we will.
How often does a loader scale need to be verified?
Trade Approved loader scales require an annual verification to maintain their legal-for-trade status. We carry out these verifications onsite across Victoria and Southern NSW. Non-trade scales don’t have a legal requirement but a yearly accuracy check still helps prevent slow drift.
What happens if my loader is overloaded?
Under Chain of Responsibility legislation, overloading a truck can result in fines, infringement notices and increased insurance costs. Those fines can come back on the loader operator and the site owner, not just the truck driver. An on-board weighing system loads the right weight first time and removes that risk.
