Gravimetric monitoring and control products in silos and tanks using loadcells is the most accurate method of measurement. Loadcells do not come into contact with the product reducing the risk of contamination.
Steam and dust in the vessel do not affect the loadcell. Product bridging and”rat holing” are not a problem for loadcell systems.
